Satch in Edmonton!

Ok boys and girls. After 18 years, Joe Satriani came to Edmonton this Saturday, October 4th, 2008 accompanied by Mountain. Yes, almost the same Mountain we listened to in the seventies. They ended their segment with the Mississippi Queen! It was a blast!
Then, Joe and his band blew our socks off. Literally!

The set list included:

For those into gear, here's a take on Joe's floor toys: Satchurator pedal and the clean channel on the JSX. There were two new VOX pedals on the board: a prototype wah, and a green Time Machine featuring four chicken head knobs. Joe had the DD3 on his board (the Time Machine was in the effects loop just before the DD3). He also had a ZVEX Ringtone (likely, used on the Ghost song).

The show ended with Joe and Leslie soloing. What a show! Feel veeeeeeery bad, if you've missed it!

Arthur and I met Joe in person. He signed Arthur's new JS guitar. Thanks!
